Project introduction - Welcome to the Forest initial ideas

London's borough of Culture has and will allow the selected borough being Waltham Forest to develop in terms of the environment and social attractions, bringing a diverse range of culture exploring the diversity of London's living citizens. This is important to me as I enjoy the idea of a diverse community and want to explore the idea of various cultures within my work. I have interpreted the word 'radical' as dramatic and different,'fellowship' as relationships people have with each other and ways they are connected and 'makers' being content creators, the ones producing the planned ideas. Ideas for creative projects that have come into my head that intertwine our theme of Our theme of radical, fellowship, makers and welcome to the forest includes ideas that can be explored through various creative mediums, this including moving image, photography, written work done digitally or printed in a book format, sound formats including music videos and edits in apps such as Adobe Audition or GarageBand and media formatted in different or radical social platforms, such as a series on YouTube.

5 creative ideas -
 1. Photography book, photographs associating with welcoming and fellowship, with relationships, friendships. Poems alongside this in a aesthetical and radical layout, some words upside down, etc. Landscape photography, welcome to the forest. Photographs and words progressing like a story throughout, this story exploring the progression of some relationship, friendship, companionship etc.

2. Moving image, videography. Trailer type video edited cinematically about finding peace in nature as part of welcome to the forest. Welcoming to ideas of the outdoors and connecting with each other, shots of people together. Meanings and intentions include welcoming the audience to the idea of realising who and what's around them.

3. Documentary based around power and hierarchy, exploring the makers and radical side of the theme. Expository documentary, researching and filming places like high businesses or places in London where things like political decisions are made. Researching peoples opinions on radical leaders and makers, people who have made a difference. Taking the perspective of what power can do, is too much of it bad?

4.  Photography, collection of diverse people as part of borough of culture in landscape based environments - welcome to the forest presented in a radical layout. Some straight up, others upside down. Overall exploring a range of people.

5. Short film, story-line of conflict between cultures, exploring more power, protesting themes whilst also exploring togetherness, people in the film welcoming each others backgrounds after confliciton. Based in a small town, characters in town could initially all not like each other due to ethical reasons, event occurs where help is needed by everyone, this point in the story introducing leaders taking control and everyone coming together, accepting each other to solve the bigger issue and overall realising everyone is equal, and that they all need each other, etc.
