Styling one

Developing the design of the book, I have placed most documentation, this including photographs and text, onto the pages. The page count may roughly be 40+, and I have discussed attributes such as text fonts, the front and back cover of the book including the dusk jacket with my mentor. We have decided that the book will consist of a few pages after the front and back cover that consists of just images or information text about the actual book, along with an introduction to myself and this project. As a draft, I have used the font 'American Typewriter' along with the following sizing of text-

Bigger fonts of text - 30-40

Whilst developing the pages, I have been selecting and viewing how different fonts look on the pages, the first I liked aesthetically being 'Futura' The text, as a draft, was easy to understand and follows the simplistic design I wish to use for the final product. The headings of the text would be bigger than the information followed.

Further fonts included volkorn, I felt this font had a sharpness to it whilst also giving a professional look. Similar to font Crimson text, which was similar but less strong than volkorn. Developing, I also desire to keep all text lower case, other than times of quotation inspirations. I feel demonstrating this creative process throughout is aesthetically interesting, and possibly different, along with the consideration that the book is not completely formal - as it is a photographic book.

One issue within Bookwright I had with the text was the inability to view all the fonts -

the first few fonts are viewable as preview, however the rest require you to click and decide each time. Though this was the case, the first few fonts were most print friendly, this possibly being the software's intention - forcing users to use the recommended texts. The software also provided a warning when a particular font was not eBook friendly.
